KAYTRANADA has enlisted the talents of Childish Gambino, Anderson .Paak, and more for his latest album, “Timeless,” now available for streaming below.
Released on Friday, June 7, this marks the Canadian artist’s first solo LP in five years.
The album also features contributions from Pink Pantheress, Tinashe, Dawn Richard, and Don Toliver.
Earlier this week, the single “Drip Sweat” featuring Channel Tres was released, while the tracks “Stuntin” and “Lover/Friend” featuring Rochelle Jordan debuted in November 2023.
KAYTRANADA recently made headlines for expressing gratitude to Freddie Gibbs for his support.
The Montreal producer publicly came out as gay in a 2016 interview with The FADER, just before releasing his debut album, “99.9%.”
In the interview, he shared that he came out as bisexual to his mother and sister at 16, but the topic was not discussed again.
“It was too many emotions at the same time,” he told the publication. “I was like, ‘Oh that’s good,’ and at the same time, I was like, ‘Oh what does mom think?’ We’re Haitians, and Haitians don’t appreciate gay people at all. I thought maybe it was a phase.”
KAYTRANADA had a long-term relationship with a woman that ended in 2015. He then came out as definitively gay to his mother and brother, receiving their support.
Shortly before releasing his new album, KAYTRANADA opened up about his sexuality and other topics in an interview with Rolling Stone.
